01 · Residential

02 · Civic

What we mean by quiet
Stoa Nord is six people. We take on four buildings a year, never more, because a fifth building means someone stops drawing and starts managing. We would rather draw.
Quiet is not the absence of decisions — it is the absence of decisions that call attention to themselves. A door handle should feel inevitable, not designed. We spend most of our fee on the parts no one photographs: the section, the threshold, the way a corridor meets the light.
The building should still make sense after the client forgets why they hired us.
